Straddle Carriers

Integrated Container Straddle Carrier

Integrated container straddle carrier: frame, lifting gear, drive and driver's cab in one rubber-tired machine for moving containers around plants and yards.

Overview

Integrated Container Straddle Carrier

The integrated container straddle carrier combines the portal frame, the lifting gear, the travel drive and a driver's cab in a single rubber-tired machine. The operator sits low between the front legs, close to the load, drives the carrier over the container, hooks on at the four corners and lifts, then travels with the box held inside the frame.

Nothing else is needed on site to complete a move, which makes the integrated carrier a practical choice for plants and yards that handle containers with a small crew. Dimensions, lifting arrangement and controls are engineered for each order, so please send us your container types, load weights and site layout to receive the specification and price.

Key features

  1. 01
All-in-one machine Frame, hoisting, drive, steering and cab are built as one unit, so the carrier does its work without depending on other lifting equipment.
  2. 02
Operator's cab An enclosed cab mounted low in the frame keeps the driver near the container and near the ground during pick-up and travel.
  3. 03
Corner lifting chains Chains with hooks hang from the four corners of the top frame and attach to the container's corner fittings, keeping the box level through the lift.
  4. 04
Rubber-tired travel Large rubber tires carry the machine across yard surfaces with no rails or fixed runway to install.
  5. 05
Protective systems Braking, overload protection, anti-collision guarding and monitoring of the machine's working state are included for safe handling.
  6. 06
Control options Remote operation or automated driving can be specified in addition to control from the cab.
