About Our AGV Transfer Vehicles
An AGV transfer vehicle is a battery-powered, driverless load carrier. It follows a programmed route by laser navigation or along a magnetic guide tape, stops at set stations and takes its transport orders from a dispatch system, so repeated moves between fixed points no longer need a driver.
The range runs from compact platform AGVs that carry cartons, parts and fixtures between workstations to heavy-duty vehicles with a full-size steel deck for dies, machine frames and large assemblies. Each project is engineered around the load, the route and the floor, and the navigation method, deck equipment and charging arrangement are fixed at the quotation stage.
The vehicles are built to order in the Kitanocrane factory, with an after-sales team to call on once they are in service.
Choosing an AGV Transfer Vehicle
-
01
Load and deck The weight, footprint and support points of the load decide the vehicle size and whether the deck stays flat or carries a lift table or locating fixtures.
-
02
Route and floor Aisle widths, turning space, floor condition and any doorways on the way determine the drive and steering layout.
-
03
Navigation Laser navigation suits layouts that change from time to time; magnetic tape guidance suits fixed routes. We recommend one after reviewing your layout drawing.

04
Fleet control A single vehicle can run on its own. Several vehicles are coordinated by a dispatch system that assigns the orders and manages the junctions.
