What we collect
When you send an enquiry through the form on this site, we receive the name, email address, company name and message you type in, together with any equipment details you choose to share (span, lifting capacity, duty class and similar).
We do not ask for, and do not want, payment card details or government identification through this website.
Why we collect it
We use what you send solely to answer your enquiry — preparing a drawing, working out a specification and quoting a price. A member of our engineering or sales team will reply directly to the address you provide.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as the commercial relationship is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards so that we can support equipment we have supplied. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
Who else sees it
We do not sell, rent or trade your details. Information is shared outside our company only where it is necessary to fulfil an order you have placed — for example with a freight forwarder arranging shipment — or where we are required to do so by law.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not set advertising or profiling cookies.
We keep simple visit statistics — which page was viewed, the referring website, the type of device and an approximate country — so we can see which products people look for. This works without cookies: we do not store your IP address, and the anonymous identifier used to count visitors changes every day, so visits cannot be linked across days or traced back to you. Visit records are deleted after 400 days.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to sales@kitanocrane.com and we will respond.
